HOW TO ENTER

You can submit through the Let's Make a Book Together Submission Form. Submitters must fill out all required fields on the entry form to participate. One entry per person.

SUBMISSION TERMS

By submitting, the Submitter agrees to the terms below.

The Submitter grants permission to include his/her story hereafter referred to as the Work, in an Anthology to be published by Cookbook Love hereafter referred to as Sponsor in hardbound, paperback, and/or electronic editions, re-printings, or in other ways in perpetuity. The Submitter shall retain all other rights to the Work not specified here or in the Agreement.

The Submitter represents and warrants that he/she is the sole author of the Work, that the Work is original, unpublished, and that no one has reserved the rights granted in this agreement. The Submitter also represents that the Work contains no matter unlawful in its content, nor does it violate the rights of any third party; that the rights granted in this contract are free and clear; and that the Submitter has full power to grant such rights.

The Submitter agrees to hold Sponsor harmless and indemnify it from all damages, costs, and expenses directly resulting from a finally sustained judgment relating to any legal actions incurred by the Submitter arising from a breach of the above warranties.

The Submitter grants Sponsor the right to use the Submietter’s name, image, likeness, and biographical material for all advertising and promotion of the Anthology.

Sponsor may also use part or all of the story on its website or in promotional materials to promote the Anthology or the Work in other formats.

The Submitter may be listed on Sponsor’s website or social media accounts.

No remuneration to Submitter is provided for submissions, at the time of publication or at any other time.

SUBMISSION OF PHOTOS

By submitting any photo or information to Sponsor, the Submitter hereby grants to Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees and assigns, an irrevocable, perpetual and royalty-free right to use, reproduce, edit, display, transmit, prepare derivative works of, modify, publish and otherwise make use of the submitted photo or other information in any and all media, whether now known or hereinafter created, throughout the world and for any purpose.

In addition to other things, the rights granted to Sponsor includes but is not limited to the right to resize, crop, censor, compress, edit, feature, caption, affix logos to, and to otherwise alter or make use of the submitted photo; By submitting any photo or information to Sponsor, you hereby represent and warrant that the submitted photo or information does not and shall not infringe on any copyright, any rights of privacy or publicity of any person, or any other right of any third party, and you have the right to grant any and all rights and licenses granted to Sponsor herein, including but not limited to all necessary rights under copyright, free and clear of any claims or encumbrances; You acknowledge and agree that Sponsor shall have no obligation to post, display or otherwise make publicly available any photo or information submitted by you, and may, in its sole and unfettered discretion, remove, edit, modify or delete any photo or information that you submit to Sponsor; You understand and intend that any photo or information submitted by you to Sponsor may be available for viewing, rating, review and comment on by the public, and understand that comments or ratings with which you disagree or are unhappy about may be published or otherwise become associated with any photo or information you submit to Sponsor. By submitting any photo or information to Sponsor, you hereby waive any privacy expectations that you may have with respect to any such photo or information submitted by you to Sponsor. You hereby agree to hold Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees sponsors and assigns harmless from and against, and hereby waive any right to pursue, any claims of any nature arising in connection with the inclusion in, publication via or display on any Sponsor site, or any other use authorized under these Terms, of any photo or information submitted to Sponsor by you; Photos or information submitted by you to the Site shall be the property of Sponsor, and Sponsor shall have no obligation to preserve, return or otherwise make available to you or others any photos or information so submitted.

ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS

Sponsor and its respective parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, agents, and representatives are not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of the anthology description, including, but not limited to, errors in any printing or posting or these Terms and Conditions, the selection and announcement of any entry selection. Any attempt to damage the content or operation of this submission process is unlawful and subject to possible legal action by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, suspend or amend the submission process, without notice, and for any reason, including, without limitation, if Sponsor determines that the submission process cannot be conducted as planned or should a virus, bug, tampering or unauthorized intervention, technical failure or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the submission process. In the event any tampering or unauthorized intervention may have occurred, Sponsor reserves the right to void suspect entries at issue. Sponsor and its respective parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, agents, and representatives, and any telephone network or service providers, are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunction, lost or delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, line failure or malfunction of any telephone network, computer equipment or software, the inability to access any website or online service or any other error, human or otherwise.

INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

BY SUBMITTING CONTENT, SUBMITTER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES, THE BLOGGER PLATFORM, ADMINISTRATOR, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES, LOSSES OR INJURY RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THAT ENTRANT’S SUBMISSION OF CONTENT. SPONSOR AND ITS PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE TO ANY COMPUTER SYSTEM RESULTING FROM ACCESS TO OR THE DOWNLOAD OF INFORMATION OR MATERIALS CONNECTED WITH SUBMISSIONS.
